Hvar is considered the sunniest island in Croatia, and the town of Hvar is famous for its unique fusion of Mediterranean climate, and Roman and medieval architecture '’sizzled' with Venetian influence. And, of course, Hvar is known for its superb wines, especially - Plavac Mali, the “grandson” of the world-famous Zinfandel grape which originates from Croatia. In a private guided tour, you will visit all the main sites, followed by a trip to one of the local wineries in an old village for a wine-tasting tour and lunch.
After breakfast enjoy a private boat tour to Vis and Biševo island. From 1950 to 1989 Vis was a military base and closed to tourists. As a result, nature was allowed to create a pristine, lush environment and the island’s unique beauty was quickly recognized by savvy travelers.
